Originally from the UK, Ottolie worked in India and Malaysia before relocating to Saigon, Vietnam, in 2021. In late 2022, she founded Get Arty Studio — a creative space that serves as both her private studio, gallery and a hub for art lovers, collectors, and community students.
Traditionally trained and recognised as a portrait artist, Ottolie’s early work focused on capturing the individuality and presence of her subjects using a distinct bold impressionistic style. In more recent years, her practice has evolved toward a contemporary, more abstract style, allowing her to explore colour, texture, and form with greater freedom.
Her work draws inspiration from the vivid palettes, landscapes, and people of Asia, translating these influences into compositions that are both visually striking and emotionally resonant. Ottolie’s paintings have been featured in solo and group exhibitions in Malaysia and Vietnam.
In addition to her gallery practice, Ottolie undertakes private commissions, creating bespoke works for collectors worldwide. Whether exhibited in a formal gallery setting or displayed in a personal collection, her art invites viewers to pause, look closely, and rediscover the beauty in everyday life.

I am a contemporary artist working in acrylic, oil, and mixed media, creating work that celebrates the richness of the world around us. My practice is rooted in direct observation and is shaped by a fascination with colour, form, and individual connection.

Influenced by the vivid palettes and layered textures found in Asian landscapes, people, life and traditions, my work blends strong, confident colour with a sense of a moment captured in time. I often explore perspective in ways that invite the viewer to see familiar scenes from a fresh angle, encouraging a deeper engagement with the subject.

Each piece is designed to be approachable yet thought‑provoking, offering a moment to pause and reconnect with the beauty in everyday life. My aim is to create art that resonates visually and emotionally, bridging the gap between personal experience and shared human stories.
